Facebook Chat Group Rules
Wakefield Parent Carer Forum host a private Facebook Chat Group for registered forum members only. All chat group members are registered parent/carers, and the group offers online peer support, a way of keeping upto date with our events and activities, finding out the correct information relevant to Wakefield families, and to keep up to date with changes from Wakefield Council and Wakefield ICB.
If you would like to join our Facebook Chat Group you can request to join by using the button below. You MUST be registered as a forum member on our website before requesting to join us on Facebook, and you MUST complete the short joining questions on Facebook. If information is missing then we will be unable to process your request.
By requesting to join our Facebook Chat Group you agree to demonstrate the following -
- Treat each other with respect.
Please remember to be kind & courteous to each other. This is a private group, if you copy and share any information/posts from this group you will be removed immediately without warning.
- Remember all SEND parent/carers are passionate.
One person’s opinion doesn’t mean someone else is wrong.
- Posting of images/videos.
No posting of images/video of children other than your own children.
- No hate speech or bullying.
Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed. Don’t post anything you wouldn’t say to someone’s face. Posts or comments with swearing will be removed.
We do not allow posting of any petitions – they will be removed.
Give more to this group than you take. Self-promotion, spam and links to other groups/organisations aren't allowed. If you feel there is something that we might want to share please message admin.
Admin’s decision is final. If you block an admin you will be removed from the group.
Anybody in breach of the rules will receive 1 warning & will be removed from the group should any other breach happen. This is to protect the safety of our members & their information.
