Let's Talk About SEND 2022

Let's Talk About SEND Event 2022

June 2022

Following the success of our first Let's Talk About SEND Event in June 2022, we have decided to make this an annual event for parent/carers to meet with professionals and get accurate up to date information from the various teams and services within the Wakefield district.

If you were one of the parent/carers who joined us on the day, you will remember that we had a parking space where you could ask questions to any of the professionals, and we would gather responses and feedback after the event. We now have answers to all of the questions asked, which you can read by clicking the link below. Grab yourself a cuppa and take a look at what the professionals had to say -

Parent/Carers Questions & Answers 2022

We would like to thank everyone who joined us for this event, it was great day and such a good opportunity for you all to meet with professionals and other SEND parents. It gave everyone a chance to ask those burning questions and get clarity and understanding of exactly how the services within Wakefield run, current waiting times, and what you could expect from each service.

We are very grateful to all of the professionals who took time out of their busy schedule to support us with this event. The feedback we received from parent/carers who joined us on the day was very positive.

If you missed this year's Let's Talk About SEND event, be sure to keep checking our website events diary for details being released for our 2023 event - we hope to see you there!
