Following our previous announcement we wanted to give you all an update on how the work at our unit was coming along.
We have been extremely grateful for the help and support from Lee at Shades Decorators in Castleford, who has kindly donated paint & materials including the help of their decorating team. In the space of 1 week, the unit has been transformed from something dirty & tired, into a bright, clean and welcoming place for the forum. We can't wait to be able to invite our members to visit and be able to take advantage of what we have to offer.
In the meantime, we will be using the space as our office base & for the general day to day running of the forum. We have already been able to put together our latest newsletter at the unit and also the Adult Pamper Gifts we have given to our SEND parents/carers as part of our wellbeing project.
We have tried to make the space versatile so that if can change depending on what we need the space to be. I'm sure you will agree from looking at the photograph's below that the transformation has been well worth the effort!
