Reconnecting Event
We were given a really valuable opportunity yesterday to attend a reconnecting event with services and teams across the district from Wakefield Council.
Events like this are a great way for professionals to learn about each other and get connections with other professionals that can help the families they are working to support in their day to day roles.
We met so many positive and passionate people yesterday, it was clear to see how much everyone cared for the families they support.
The photos show a close up of our stand yesterday, and the few moments there was a gap in people visiting our stand when we managed to run to take a photo of part of the room!
We would like to say a BIG thank you to Wakefield Council for supporting and valuing the work of Wakefield Parent Carer Forum, and for allowing us opportunities like this to join in and make the connections we need.
We would also like to say hello to the professionals we met yesterday, and we look forward to working with you in the near future.
