SEND & Siblings Summer Holiday Groups
- We are excited to share with you that Wakefield Council is working with partners to deliver a range of activities by a number of different providers. The SEND and Siblings Summer Holiday Groups are for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and their siblings aged 5 to 17 years old. The groups will offer children and young people in Wakefield the opportunity to enjoy group activities in a supportive and safe environment. This is being offered as part of the DfE Short Breaks Innovation fund, which they have been awarded.
- Your children can attend as many of the sessions as they want to and there is no charge for the sessions, but they must attend together. Please see the link below for the information pack detailing provider information sheet with dates, days, times and information on the different activities on offer.
- Also included in the link is the preference form, all about me form and consent form which you need to complete.
- Should you wish your children to take part in these sessions, please complete an application pack and return to the SEND Development Team by Friday 7th July.
