Biography
Hi, I’m a mum of two and have knowledge in Autism (both girls and boys), Sensory Processing, Social Communication, Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia) and Anxiety. My area of interest is Education, in particular support in schools and EHCP’s. My role within Wakefield Parent Carer Forum includes the day to day running of the forum & communication with professionals and parents/carers. I attend regular meetings with Wakefield Council, Wakefield ICB and local organisations to share Wakefield parent carer voices, and I am a member of the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Parent Carer Forum & the National Network of Parent Carer Forums. My hobbies include crafting, I especially enjoy making cards when I get the time to and creating resources to help SEND parent carers.
