SEND Play Worker
Biography
I am so excited to be starting with Wakefield Parent Carer Forum and cant wait to meet and get to know everyone. I come into this exciting new role with experience, both in my own personal family life and from working/volunteering with supporting SEND families. Over the last few years i have thrown myself fully into trying to better understand a broad range of disabilities and challenges that many people struggle with. I have been involved in workshops, webinars and volunteering to do this along with my previous experience as a playworker. When I'm not doing this, I really love to be in nature, whether in the countryside or on a beach up in Scotland - typically walking my two dogs - and enjoying the rare peace and quiet that comes with it.
