Biography
Hi, I'm a mum of two boys with additional needs, one of whom has complex medical needs. I have navigated the challenges of mainstream primary and secondary education, elective home education (EHE), education other than at school (EOTAS) and specialist school placements. I currently work in education and have recently completed a degree in children's mental health. I have a personal interest in how supporting a child with SEND impacts the family as a whole. Additionally, I enjoy creating activities that cater to children's sensory needs - the messier, the better! In my spare time I like to run, I should probably say walk at a fast pace as i'm a slow runner. Recently I completed my first 5k race and am now training for a 10k race.
